It can be programmed to count down from 99 minutes, 99 seconds to zero in any second increment. In stopwatch mode, the unit will count up to 59 minutes, 59 seconds and automatically roll over to zero and continue timing. High-decibel alarm may be turned off manually or is automatically silenced after 1 minute. Individually numbered keys make setting time faster than units with up/down buttons. Magnetic back allows timer to be placed on incubators, titrators and most lab equipment. It also features a flip-open easel for standing on the lab bench, a spring fastener for clipping to a lab coat and a hold for a lanyard. 2-year continuous-use silver-oxide battery included. Measures 2-3/4" x 2-3/8" x 5/8” and weighs 1.5 ounces.

Cole-Parmer Techne Gelation Timer, 9999 minutes, 120 VAC, 60 Hz
These units are ideal for measuring the gelation time of adhesives and resins for quality control. The gelation time is the transition from liquid to solid during polymerization. Test requires approximately 100 mL of sample in a container that is >1-1/2" (38 mm) in diameter. Once the measurement is started, the plunger moves up and down. After gelation, the plunger is halted, stopping the timer and setting off the audible and visual alarms. The bright LED digital display shows the time to the nearest minute or tenth of a minute.
