Convenient laboratory timer with giant size digits over 1'' high that are visible from a distance of up to fifty feet. Allows program setting of 3 countdown times into memory. Use any countdown time from 99 minutes, 59 seconds to 1 second. When zero is reached, the timer starts counting up to show time elapsed since alarming.

Each channel has a distinctive alarm that sounds for 1 minute, pressing any button will turn off the alarm. Timer memory recalls previous time set. Features time-of-day in 12- or 24-hour formats.

A unique and very useful timer featuring a clear pleasant human voice. Eliminate the need to continually visually check time remaining via voice announcements that can be heard from anywhere in the lab.
In the count-down mode Talking Timer will announce the remaining time every hour. In the final hour it will announce the time remaining every 10 minutes, every minute in the final 10 minutes, and every second in the final 10 seconds.
Other features include a large 3/4" display with icons to indicate various modes, such as voice off/on, count-down/count-up, etc. Recalls the previous count-down setting for immediate reuse and memorizes another frequently used setting for reuse at any time. Counts up or down to 24 hours. Both functions and the clock work simultaneously.
Button cell (AG13) batteries are included.

These units are ideal for measuring the gelation time of adhesives and resins for quality control. The gelation time is the transition from liquid to solid during polymerization. Test requires approximately 100 mL of sample in a container that is >1-1/2" (38 mm) in diameter. Once the measurement is started, the plunger moves up and down. After gelation, the plunger is halted, stopping the timer and setting off the audible and visual alarms. The bright LED digital display shows the time to the nearest minute or tenth of a minute.
